Class Descriptions
Yoga: This all-levels Yoga Flow class on Tuesdays and Thursday from June 9th to July 9th combines movement and breath to help improve strength, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness. Flow through a series of poses designed to energize the body, reduce stress, and increase mobility in a supportive and welcoming environment. Each class will also include an inspirational scripture reading to encourage reflection, peace, and connection. Whether you are new to yoga or experienced in your practice, modifications and challenges will be offered so everyone can move at their own pace and leave feeling refreshed and renewed.
Prepointe/Pointe: This class meets every other week, June 9-11, June 23-25, and July 16-19. The Pre-Pointe/Pointe class focuses on building the strength and technique needed for strong, healthy dancers. Students will work on foot, ankle, and core strengthening exercises designed to improve balance, stability, turns, leaps, and overall dance technique. While this class prepares dancers for pointe work, it is also highly beneficial for any dancer looking to improve control, alignment, and performance quality — even if pointe is not their goal.
Camps for ages 3-6 and 7-9: These themed camps incorporate storytelling, movement, art, and dance. The campers will be encouraged to use their imagination and tap into their inner artists. It will be a fun time for all.
